Save it for a Rainy Day

As we all know the British summer unfortunately isn't the most reliable, so if the heavens are open and you still want to do something fun here are a few suggestions.

Cinema deals:

There are so many cinemas in Sheffield, it’s hard to keep track of which one has the best deals. Alas, let me be your fairy ‘godblogger’ as I have found which is the cheapest for kids in the holidays. Cineworld in Valley Centertainment is showing junior films  for as cheap as £1.79 for both adults and children on weekend mornings. Find out more and book tickets here.

Pantomime is probably one of the fond memories I have as a child, but parents always seem to forget that there are other shows at the theatre throughout the year. On August 21st- 22nd there are a number of Frozen Sing-A-Long showings at Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield which costs £15.50 for adults and £10.50 for under 16’s. It’s a little on the steep side price-wise but if your kids love Frozen this might be worth the cash.

Soft Play

If there is one thing every parent knows, it’s that kids love a good soft play. There are a few scattered around Sheffield so you should find one anywhere you go. Megakidz at the Megacentre on Bernards Road is £3.50 for 1-8 year olds and free for under 1’s during the school holidays.  The soft play also holds extra activities which change weekly and can be seen on the website here.

Until next time,

Chanel.
